Come out Saturday, December 7th at 9AM to Emerson Oaks Reserve to collect samples along a hotspot of habitat types. Managed by UC Riverside, this reserve is right between the California coast and the Colorado desert and has mountain, desert, coastal, and valley ecosystems within 240 acres.

Keep an eye out for native mule deer, kangaroo rats, raptors, and several species of butterflies.

Meet-up at the entrance of the reserve to head in together as a group. Be sure to bring food, water, and comfortable shoes! There's a forecast of light rain so prep accordingly.
