Pinto Lake suffers from seasonal toxic algae blooms.

Researchers at CALeDNA are studying how these  blooms affect the plants, 

animals, bacteria & fungi that live at the Lake.

What you will do: 

1. Learn how to collect water

 and soil samples. 

2. Hike and Collect!

3. Verify and submit your data!
